Welcome to the official website of the Grosse Pointe Radio Astronomy Team. RATs, as it is commonly known, is a team of high school students from Grosse Pointe North and South working to study outer space and radio astronomy. Founded in November 1989 by advisor Ardis Herrold, the team has a rich and proud history of setting and achieving its own goals and overcoming hardships. We meet every Thursday after school in Mrs. Herrold's room, SCI 301.
